Founded by three brothers, Richard, Stephen, and Andrew Maltby, the company has evolved to meet the ever-changing spatial data needs of its clients. Rights of Light: Our laser scanning capabilities enable us to capture existing geospatial information, providing accurate aperture and model data for ROL Consultants.

Control Surveys: Precision Leica instrumentation enables us to establish, observe, document, and maintain high-order rigorous geodetic networks.

Topographic Surveys: As a Chartered Geomatics Company, we provide high-quality digital terrain mapping and modeling to clients and their design teams.

Drone Surveys: Our professional partner ensures safe, efficient, and reliable survey data collection using Network RTK and high-order ground control points.

Hydrographic Surveys: We collaborate with the Environment Agency and their Consultants to deliver accurate, timely spatial data in various formats for Hydraulic Modellers and GIS Analysts.

Channel Surveys: With over 35 years of experience, we have safely recorded, processed, and documented river profiles for thousands of miles of inland waterways across the UK and Ireland.

Coastal & Harbour: Maltby Surveys has collaborated with Shoreline Surveys for almost 20 years, supplementing our survey capability for near-shore, inshore, ports, harbours, and reservoirs.

Environment Agency: As an approved EA survey contractor, we have completed specialist survey projects on behalf of the Environment Agency for over 30 years.
