Building Surveying Services

Our building surveying services cover a wide range of areas, including Purchase/Possession Surveys, Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA), dilapidations assessments, conservation advice, ownership and occupation RCA, project management (PM), contract administration (CA), construction design management (CDM), defect diagnosis, party wall matters, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and conservation advice. We have particular expertise in building conservation and heritage property, with our surveying director being on the RICS register of historic building professionals.

M&E Services Consultancy

Our M&E consultancy services encompass a variety of areas, including M&E design, surveys, party wall, dilapidations services, defect diagnosis reporting, and duties under the CDM regulations. Our team has extensive experience in the private and public sectors, working on commercial, institutional, and residential buildings. We are committed to providing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, with a keen interest in modern materials and renewable energy options.

Our Directors and Team

Our team is led by Simon Clark, Director of Building Surveying, who is a chartered building surveyor with over 20 years of experience in consultancy and client-side work. Simon has a passion for historic buildings and is an RICS accredited Conservation Surveyor. He is also an incorporated member of the Association of Project Safety (APS) and has had numerous instructions as a Principal Designer or Client's CDM Adviser under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Our Director of M&E Services, Andrew Dougherty, is an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Consultant with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Andrew has worked on most building types, including boutique hotels, restaurants, and wedding venues, high-end domestic properties, and heritage buildings. He has built up a client base of main contractors, small businesses, and private clients in carrying out specification work, estimating and tendering, budget estimating, negotiation, mediation, design and project management.
