Our History

The Bacon family has been involved in commercial property investment since the 1960s. Our principal, Andrew Bacon, is the son of John Bacon, a renowned accountant and University lecturer. Andrew's journey as a Chartered Surveyor began in the 1980s, with the intention of taking over the family business. When he left the Valuation Office Agency in 1991, he saw a need for a firm that could provide advice and representation to SMEs on commercial property matters. JMA Chartered Surveyors was born, and since then, we have been dedicated to providing expert advice and representation to our clients.
