When a Building Owner wishes to undertake building works that affect their neighbours or vice versa, we provide guidance on the service of notices, and if necessary, the appointment of surveyors to produce a Party Wall Award. We would always advise that the Building Owner writes to or discusses the proposed development with neighbours before the service of notices.
