Building Design & Specifications

Our Building Design service is designed to help you turn your initial project ideas into a tangible reality. We begin by developing your concept into a full brief, which we then use to produce basic outline drawings and budget estimates. From these drawings and estimates, we can produce a comprehensive feasibility report that sets out the parameters of your project. As part of our complete design service, we will then develop the feasibility scheme and produce detailed CAD drawings and written specifications. We can also assist with obtaining competitive tenders from contractors and ensure that our drawings are sufficiently detailed to enable construction to begin without delay.

Party Wall Matters

The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 is a crucial piece of legislation that regulates certain construction works carried out on or adjacent to the boundary between properties. At Quoin Building Consultants, we have extensive experience in advising on whether proposed construction works fall within the scope of the Act and preparing and serving the appropriate notices. We can also advise and act for adjoining owners who have been served with a notice, ensuring that all parties are fully aware of their rights and duties under the Act.
