Our estate agency services begin with an initial market valuation by Michael Darwin, a chartered surveyor with over 40 years of experience. Homebuyer Surveys

In addition to selling properties, we understand the importance of ensuring your dream home has no hidden surprises. Our homebuyer surveys are available at competitive fees, allowing you to make informed decisions about your property purchases.

Auctioneers and Valuers

As traditional auctioneers, we have operated from the Dales Furniture Hall, Bedale for over 60 years. Our auctions consist of around 500 lots, comprising modern, retro, and antique furniture, china, paintings, tools, rugs, silver and gold, jewellery, and more. With every auction being different, we ensure maximum coverage through photos on our website, Facebook page, and online catalogues available on the ukauctioneers website, usually a week before the auction. Our auctioneer, Michael Darwin, brings over 40 years of experience to the table, providing an unparalleled level of expertise.

House Clearances and Single Items

We deal with house clearances, from single items to entire properties, offering prior appraisals with the auctioneer. During the Covid pandemic, we have adapted our procedures, including booking seats in advance, changing the layout of the saleroom, moving the collection of goods area, and accepting payment by card, cheque, and cash. Our auctioneer now also sells from the first-floor gallery area, allowing sales to recommence safely.

Surveys and Valuations

Our RICS Homebuyer Surveys are carried out by Mike Darwin MRICS, who has extensive experience in the local area. We also offer probate valuations for both property and furniture, as well as market valuations for sales and other purposes.

Property Viewings

We can now arrange for viewings of properties by appointment, subject to social distancing and health precautions. If you are ill or showing coronavirus symptoms, please stay at home to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
