Valuations

We offer valuation services for a variety of purposes, including shared ownership, probate, and matrimonial split. Our valuations are carried out by experienced and qualified professionals, ensuring that you receive an accurate and reliable valuation.

Party Wall Act

If you are planning to build within six metres of a neighbouring property, you may need to consider the Party Wall Act 1996. We offer a full range of services related to the Party Wall Act, including serving and responding to notices, preparing schedules of condition and awards, and agreement of any remedial work needed.

We can provide advice and calculate the price for leasehold extension or enfranchisement. We can also carry out negotiations on your behalf.

Schedules of Condition and Dilapidations

We can prepare schedules of condition to demonstrate the condition of commercial property at the commencement of a tenancy, limiting the tenant's repairing liability. We can also prepare dilapidations schedules during the tenancy and at the end of the lease to establish the condition of the building and the work needed to be done by the tenant to meet their obligations under the lease.

Our team includes Chris Clark, who runs our residential department from Chandler's Ford. Chris has over 30 years' experience of both residential surveys and commercial surveys and valuations. He also provides dilapidation and condition schedules and accepts party wall and expert witness appointments. He is an RICS Registered Valuer. His clients range from private sellers and buyers to national house builders.

Des Ely FRICS IRRV specialises in commercial valuation, rent reviews and lease renewal work. He has worked in this field for over 50 years and is one of the most experienced practitioners in the area. He practises from our Bursledon, Southampton office.
