• Country House Rescue: Our role in bringing derelict country houses back from the brink is a source of great pride. We work closely with our clients to develop a plan to restore these iconic properties.

Our People

Our team of surveyors, architects, and technologists is based in Perth, Scotland. Our directors, Henry Dempsey and Robbie McDowall, have many years of experience and are highly qualified in their respective fields. Robbie McDowall, MCIAT, BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology, MSc Arch Conservation, is a Chartered Architectural Technologist with a deep understanding of listed building projects and architectural conservation. Henry Dempsey, MRICS, is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 50 years of experience, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

Our History

Harry Taylor & Co was founded by Harry Taylor, a chartered surveyor, in Perth, Scotland in 1960. Since then, the practice has developed into a company that provides architectural services, with a significant proportion of this work involving listed buildings. Our team has a long history of providing professional, effective, and friendly service, which has resulted in a strong reputation in the industry.
